GLG Life Tech Corporation (Nasdaq:GLGL) (TSX:GLG) ("GLG" or the "Company"), the vertically-integrated leader in the agricultural and commercial development of high quality stevia and all-natural and zero-calorie food and beverage products, announces that the Company is aware of a report of an investigation by a law firm seeking to determine whether a claim against GLG exists for alleged failures to disclose certain information under US federal securities laws.
GLG has not received any contact or communication regarding such investigation.
The Company has reviewed the reported allegations and believes they are without merit and stands behind its continuous public disclosure record. GLG believes that there is no basis for any claim to proceed. If, however, a claim proceeds, GLG will defend itself vigorously. |
